KOREAN RED PEPPER POWDER

Gochugaru, red chili peppers that are dried & then grounded into a powder. Gochu literally means chili pepper and garu means powder in Korean. It is used extensively in Korean cooking to add spiciness & flavors. Some Korean dishes and sauces that contains gochugaru are gochujang, kimchi, tukboki, koatgaetang, dakdoritang, kkakdugi, nakji bokum and more.

Also recommended for your soups and dishes for a little extra heat.

It is a good source of fiber, rich in vitamin E, vitamin A and also iron. Good for heart health and helps with lowering blood cholesterol.
