This bright yellow flower is dried then mainly used for tea. It is a very popular summertime tea, especially in China considering it's one of the ten famous flowers within their history.
The chrysanthemum flower is well‐known for its ability to reduce eye redness, reduce eye pressure, brighten the eyes, and a lot of other eye issues. It is also used to treat chest pain, high blood pressure, and a number of skin conditions. This flower paired with goji berries is a great combination for liver health as well.
Prepare your tea by pouring a little bit of water over 1 teaspoon of flowers and then getting rid of that water to "wash" the flowers and tea. This can be skipped but it is just to get rid of any chemicals or dirt that may be within. Then continue to pour your hot water to make about 3 cups of tea and steep for about 10 minutes.
